Gratitude

This is an image of parents showing gratitude.

Once again, I want to personally express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of your child’s education. Your children may not articulate it now, but in the future, they will acknowledge the immense value of your support.

It is the lot of the teacher/parent that the seeds we sow often don’t bear fruit for many years. Be assured that the seeds will bear fruit.

You are training tomorrow’s adults. Of course, we want our kids to grow as we have. They have to react to many influences as they age. Your support, your grounding, and setting them up to succeed will guide them.

It is now understood that children’s brains are hard-wired from about age 8. By that age, they have a firm sense of right and wrong. Attitudes and behaviours have developed; they follow them.

It is also now understood that thought patterns can be altered. The brain can be rewired to accept new or different ways of doing things, and this can occur at any age. Even seniors can adapt to changes.

The process is far more straightforward with you there as a guide, dear parent. Be resolute in your support of your child/children. The going gets tricky; it’s not easy but worthwhile.
