Stick With It

This is a child playing a portable keyboard.

How’s your practice going?

So, back to practising. You only need 10 minutes daily to make a difference in any skill. The skill doesn’t have to be about school. The important thing is to stick with it.

Did you come up with anything? If you didn’t, that’s okay. Sometimes, it’s hard to think of something when you need to.

You read the blog and thought that you’d do something about it. Then you got distracted by something else, and you forgot. The biggest thing to remember is that practice will make you better. My gran used to tell me:

practice makes perfect

Do we want to be perfect? Perfect means you made no mistakes. No one does that. Even the best sportspeople make mistakes. Practice improves performance is a better way of saying it.

The more you practice, the better you become.

Practising will make you better. Remember, I said will make you better. Not, might make you better. Will.

Give it 10 minutes a day.

You might not notice a difference.

But, if you stick with it, other people will.
