Hmm, a dollar each time I have written ‘Dear Parents.’ Information followed. Communication lines opened once you got past ‘Dear Parents.’
The two-word lead-in morphed to include Caregivers or Carers. The title is your choice; if a child lives with you, you are one of the above.
Your task is an important one. It’s not a paying job, but the payoff is greater.
You are your child’s first teacher. You started them on their life’s pathway. They will meet others who will influence and guide them. You, and only you, dear parents, were the instigators who empowered them.

Once again, I want to personally express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of your child’s education. Your children may not articulate it now, but in the future, they will acknowledge the immense value of your support.
It is the lot of the teacher/parent that the seeds we sow often don’t bear fruit for many years. Be assured that the seeds will bear fruit.
